When the Cañon City Schools Team Nutrition crew gathered for their spring staff meeting, they had a little something extra to celebrate—brand-new blue staff shirts, donated through ImprintED. The team was kind enough to give us a shout-out on social media, and seeing their excitement made our whole week.

The shirts carry the department's "Eat Right, Live Right" Nutritional Services mark on a bold, unmistakable blue. There's something powerful about a whole crew showing up in the same colors—it turns a group of individuals into a visible team, and these folks are exactly that.

Team Nutrition is the crew that keeps Cañon City students fed, and their work doesn't stop when the school year ends. This summer, they're bringing FREE breakfast and lunch to Cañon City Middle School in June and July, with their food truck rolling out to Macon Plaza, Centennial Park, and Cañon Exploratory School for lunch.

To spread the word, the team also debuted a fun selfie station so students and families can snap a photo and share the love for summer meals. Keep an eye on their page for menus, hours, and plenty of selfie opportunities.
